Post4it was designed to meet the service needs of businesses back in 2007.  The idea was to allow the consumer to be able to meet their own service needs without the hassle of calling several companies to meet their time and budget needs.  The site is an amazing work of genius!  A consumer simply places their need (or POST) and the website sends a TEXT message (SMS) and or an email to all providers in the service area of the consumer.  Those providers who can meet the consumers needs then contact the customer directly and earn the job!  The way business should be!

The CEO, Mr. Morrow developed this idea one day when locked out of his own home on accident.  He sat outside in the sun for 45 minutes calling information, over and over and over trying to find a locksmith that could come out right away.  Realizing if Post4it existed he could simply POST a request and those companies who were available would CALL HIM!  Well the idea took off and investors saw value as well.

After several legal battles to get the sight launched, in September 2010 the site was finally released.  While the business model may eventually charge service providers a small monthly fee for receiving leads, the company has chosen to launch it for free for the foreseeable future.
